[ Mathematics ] Open Question : How do you do this math problem? 8th grade math?

A large novel is divided into a three-volume set. Volume one begins with page one with the pages being numbered consecutively from volume 1 through 3(In other words, if the last page of the volume 1 is 324, then the first page of volume 2 is 325). There are an equal number of pages in each volume. If the sum of the numbers of the first pages of each volume is 1674, how many pages does each volume have?

I am currently “trying” to study for exams but I have a certain thing that’s been eating me inside out. HELP!!!
I am currently in second year of uni.
In the first year I met a girl. A pretty ordinary meeting! (She wore a red coat and I had a clean shaved head) We lived in the same halls and we became good friends over the year. We cooked together, walked around town, talk late into nights about things ranging from physics to philosophy to ants and Poetry. She taught me how to play the guitar and I encouraged her to sing aloud (incredible voice) and by the end of the year I had pretty much learnt to strum the guitar and she was singing at the top of her lungs in the streets. I realised that I have a deeper feelings for her than I wanted to admit at that moment.
During the second year, she left for an exchange year. And herein lies my problem! I have talked to her regularly through skype and social media. We both started blogs and we read and catch up on each others’ lives. I haven’t seen her for a little over a year now (not counting the skype sessions) and that feeling has never died down, and I’ve always tried to convince myself it would. I know that I immensely like this girl. Today I admit this to myself!
Second year is almost over and after the summers we’ll meet again as 3rd year students. I am as excited as her (By now she has donated her red coat and my hair is at my chest level ).
I need to tell her about my feelings right? But also she is one of my closest friend! Would this be difficult? I am not a shy person (I can walk around town barefoot with a Bucket on my head if I have to). I could write so much more but I am afraid I would be wasting your time, GOOD PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET!
I am 22 years old and I still feel that this is just a passing phase. Am I wrong? I feel stupid putting this on the Net but Yes I am battling with this for more than a year now and can’t find answers!

I want to use a few of my friends photos for commercial purpose. Make them into digital oil paintings. And then sell them and 488 others on an ebay store. I have no idea what to sell them for, whats the going price or what percentage or dollar amount to pay my friend for the royalty. Anyone got any idea about this? Appreciate hearing from you. I dont imagine I will sell millions, but maybe dozens and dozens..maybe only 2 dozen, lol..not sure, what site does this?

I’m watching the movie and I oddly agree with a lot of the things he is saying. I’m not racist, but the things he says about immigration and things of that nature make sense. I just wondered if I was the only one.

To make this short , my 16 year old boyfriend came home from school today w/ a fever . He told his mom & she ” felt ” his head to see if he has a fever to give him medicine for it & I was like annoyed by it because I feel like he’s acting immature for his age & that he should be able to do it himself , instead of going to his mom for everything . & before , he made her get up while she was laying down to put cream cheese on his bagel & I talked to him about it saying that he needs to start doing things himself , instead of having her do everything for him . So , it seems like ever since I talked to him about that , he’s been making food himself & putting the cream cheese on the bagel himself . But ever since today , I feel like his mom isn’t letting him grow up by doing everything for him & making him less independent . We got in like a bit of a fight about it at 5ish , & we haven’t talked ever since . Am I over-reacting to him doing this ? It really bothers me .

Soo, the problem is, they’re both my best friends.
The first guy that asked me out, he’s so sweet and adorable ! The other, he’s sweet, funny, and adorable. I don’t want to hurt the first guy because this would probably be his first relationship if I accepted. And on the other hand, I don’t want to hurt the second guy’s. I’m stuck between a crossroad. Both of them are shorter than me, I don’t mind that much, though. The first guy is a bit chubbier. I don’t mind that either. I just can’t decide between these two ! They’re my best friends !
